karl who?

in the recent weeks i did not post a lot of stuff due to two really annoying exams. since yesterday i'm a free agent again - yeaaah. so stay tuned folk.

i'm a huge fan of brand hacks in the fashion industry. karl who? bags or the ysl shirt from 5 preview, however, are a little bit worn out. BUT then i stumpled across those three guys. need all of them!!!

death by studs

in the past weeks i recognized an inescapable wave of studs on everything. in the beginning i was really into the whole studded shorts and studded loafer trend, but by now it's just getting too much. below you can see some of my top picks. nevertheless this "i'm cool, i have studds everywhere" hype must stop. pleeease.

back to the ...

from paris with love.

bailmain.

i'm not quite sure why i like this collection so much, but it has something to do with the 90s vibe. oliver rousteing presents fancy blazer with broad shoulders and stretch dresses. listening to sade right now - smooth operator - just fits perfectly.

dior.

ready-to-wear? always. raf simons presented his first ready-to-wear collection for dior in paris. i love the metallic-looks and black suit variations. to my great joy he also uses transparent garments and tulle (really really really like the blue/black dress with the tulle)

saint laurent.

just two words: rock chic. hedi slimane seems to know his craft. first of all i need such a hat and second off all i love the mystical touch of the whole collection. black bows, leather, sequinned jackets, maxi dresses, fur jackets - welcome to the 70s of tomorrow.

mamma mia

mamma mia. welcome to milano.

francesco scognamigilio.

recently i discovered my love for lingerie design. it all began with the amazing collection of jason wu in new york and progresses with the designs of scognamilgilio. definitely need more transparent clothing for upcoming summer.

gucci.

that's what i would call a firework of colours. this time gucci shows monochrome dresses in white and shinny colours. additionally one can recognize a lot of flounces. the simple white dress with the low neckline is just perfect. summer, here we go.

alberta ferretti.

mermaids in the house. ferrettis' designs just take one along in a beautiful underwater world. the robes are sequined and she used a lot of transperent (!!!) garments. i'm totally in love with the colour palette from azure blue to emeralg green. i want to be a mermaid, so badly.

sorbet for everyone

right after new york, the fashion folk travels to london town.

mulberry.

welcome to the country side. mulberry presented a beautiful collection inspired by the great scenic beauty of england. in my mind mulberry designs timeless pieces that can be worn with nearly everything. i'm totally in love with the mint coat and wouldn't say no to a floral pattern sweater. as every year fashion addicts pay special attention to the accessories of mulberry. this year they introduced the willow bag: a shopper with an additional clutch that can be removed subject to whim. the new transformer bag seems to be a strong competitor of the alexa or bayswater.

erdem.

i never really had moralogolu erdem below the radar but this collection blew me away. he processed a lot of exotic materials and emphasized the designs with transparent details. the sorbet-coloured dresses are such an eye-candy. my favourite piece of the show is the skyblue tight maxi dress. need it so badly!

burberry prorsum.

with the burberry prorsum show christoper bailey proved how classic and thrilling metallic designs can look like. the whole collection is dominated by strong colours which in the final walk reminded one of an opalescent rainbowthe combination of leather, satin and silk goes hand in hand with the smooth cuts. i'm totally in love with the olive sequined trench coat but again wouldn't mind to own any other piece.
